SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT AUTISM ALL STARS
One of the most important things you can do to support us is to help raise the charity’s profile. Since social media is where we have our biggest following, it makes a huge difference if people spread the word online about what we do.
Helping us like this is quick, easy and costs nothing except a few minutes of your time, but it will make a whole world of difference to autistic people and their families.

STEP TWO – INVITE OTHER PEOPLE TO JOIN
If you’re not technically minded (which I’m really not) then using Facebook to spread the word can be a bit confusing at first. Facebook is our main social media site, so I’ve put together some instructions to make things a bit easier.
INVITING FRIENDS TO OUR PAGES
You can make the message a bit more interesting if you like, then select all of your friends. If there’s anyone you don’t want to invite for some reason, go down the list afterwards and unclick them.
At the bottom you’ll have the option to send the invitations as private messages as well.
INVITING FRIENDS TO OUR GROUPS
When you click on the ‘Invite Members’ button a drop down will appear listing all your Facebook friends and it’s just a case of inviting whoever you like.
SHARING FACEBOOK PAGES OR GROUPS
SHARING POSTS FROM PAGES OR GROUPS
The most important thing about sharing our Facebook posts is to change your privacy settings for them to PUBLIC, otherwise your post will only go as far as your immediate friends.
Always remember to change it back to your usual setting afterwards!
STEP THREE – INTERACT!
Instead of pressing ‘like’, remember to use the ‘love’ or ‘wow’ buttons – it really helps Facebook’s algorithm’s notice us and make us more visible to other people.
