Family Fun Day at the Dog & Duck

We’re hosting a fantastic family fun day on the 14th of October, with lots going on including face painting, a children’s disco, magic show, balloon modelling, costume competition and much more!

Our families are in for a real treat on Saturday 14th of October, when we’ll be running this FREE EVENT in a huge marquee in the grounds of the Dog & Duck Country Pub in Outwood between 12 noon and 4pm.

The Dog & Duck is a fantastic setting with a huge outdoor play area, and they’ll be running a full bar and BBQ on the day while we enjoy all the activities.
You can find directions here: DIRECTIONS and more about what they offer here: DOG & DUCK

There’ll be regular updates on both activities and characters on our Facebook Event page here: FACEBOOK EVENT and across our other social media platforms.

Our friendly characters will be there as always, waiting to pose for pictures with you, as well as a whole variety of stalls offering all kinds of great products and services, from cuddly toys to massage.

We’ll have our well-stocked Sensory Area set up, and we’re offering free high quality earplugs for anyone who needs them.

Original Stormtrooper Chris Bunn will be signing autographs for a small fee, with a percentage of every sale coming to the charity. Find out more about Chris here: CHRIS BUNN, STORMTROOPER

From 2pm – 3:30pm there’ll be a children’s disco, magic show, bubble display and balloon modelling provided by the award-winning Marvel Entertainments.

If you feel like you need a bit of pampering, experienced therapist Rain from Massage Alchemy will be offering her services too. You also can join her on Facebook here: ALCHEMY ON FACEBOOK

The competition is open to all ages and abilities!

There’s so much more to see and do, including a COSTUME COMPETITION, so come along in your best outfits to be in with a chance of winning a prize!

We’re asking for a voluntary donation on the door just to cover the hire costs, so you can give as much or as little as you like.

Looking forward to seeing lots of you on the day!
